So my mom gave me these little strips of color foam paper that she found a few months ago. I had no idea what I was going to do with them and they've been sitting in my craft closet ever since. Today I finally came up with an idea: bath art.
Once you cut them into shapes, the water in the bath tub makes them stick to each other and the wall tiles. Surface tension is a fantastic discovery for toddlers so I've found out.
The possibilities are pretty much endless here. It's easy enough to make roads and cars, or monsters that you can place your own arms and eyes and ears, or if you have older kids you can make words for practicing sentences, family members names, gardens scenes, Lego looking blocks to build towers and landscapes, whatever you feel like! We're practicing our ABC's...
Happy foaming everybody!
