Only a wake up left before the big move. 12 hours from now I'll be sitting on a plane saying goodbye to gorgeous Orange County, California. So for Mother's Day, I figured I might as well enjoy the beach one last time with my mom and my baby girl.
The thing I love most about this particular photo is that even though I was trying to capture the sun, I accidentally caught a little piece of the moon too. And what's better than the moon? Oh yes, nothing at all.
Shovels and sailboats and Secrets, oh my!
Nana and Kalynn
By far, the best picture of the day!
Not very stoked to go home. At all.
Oh, and one more tiny note to my home:
Dear 17552 Rosa Drew Lane #17B,
Thank you, tiny little apartment.
Thank you for being such an awesome place to lay my head the last 3 years. Thank you for housing my daughter's first steps, first words, first tantrums, and first memories.
Thank you for letting me curse at you, slam your doors, spill my coffee and wine on your floors, nail a million holes in your walls just to change my mind, move everything over an inch, and nail more holes.
You've been witness to highest highs and lowest lows. I'll certainly never forget this place.
