It appears as though, after talking with a handful of people, I have missed some major must-do's on yesterday's Colorado bucket list. So I've added another few. Looks like I have these first few years pretty much booked!

And as much as I hate to disappoint you, dear sweet sister of mine, I just can't add filling up my gas tank at Kum & Go or the Loaf 'n Jug to my ultimate Colorado bucket list.  You're such a nerd.

  1. TinCup... Yankee Boy Basin... Telluride! Ummm... off I-70 at the exit for Alice... several miles up the road is rock that somebody painted like a pig... I laughed for hours! It's in the trees... on the right side of the road... a mile from anyones driveway... gotta watch for it. Severance... not far from Ft Collins for Rocky Mtn Oysters! They sell them by the TON! Rafting Poudre Canyon in the Spring (now) when the water is roaring! To Be COntinued!

  2. Of course... Trail Ridge Road... in three seasons... Winter is out! Black Canyon of the Gunnison... Rafting on the Arkansas... Brown's Canyon to start... or Royal Gorge... Wow! Aspen in late summer... late September, off season it's great! With your child do Santa Claus thing on the way up the back side of Pikes Peak... and then Cripple Creek with it's Victorian buildings, a mile into the earth in the mines and the local wild/tame donkey herd!
